Fireworks with a wide range of pattern filling, if you can fully develop the texture characteristics of its pattern, it can be very convenient to draw a variety of realistic graphics, the following we use the "Wood grain 3" fill to draw a lifelike chess pieces.
Create a new 455*300 size canvas after fireworks is started. With the Ellipse tool and the SHIFT key, draw a circle with a diameter of 142 pixels in the canvas.
Figure 1
Then fill the circle with the "wood grain 3" in the pattern fill.

Figure 3
Then use the inner bevel and projection effects on the circle in turn, setting the parameters as follows.

When finished, use the Ellipse tool to draw a circle with a diameter of 127 pixels in the circle, as well as a pattern fill with "wood grain 3", and set the feather value of the circle to 3, as shown.
Figure 6
Next, we'll draw two circles with diameters of 118 and 102 pixels respectively, after the two circles are horizontally and vertically aligned, click Modify-Combine path-punch on the menu bar to form a new combined path, and then fill the path with a solid color value of #dd0000.
Figure 7
We also add an "inner bevel" effect to the path, setting the values as shown.
Figure 8
And then to give this piece "engraved" on the Chinese characters, here I choose the Bold 96th "official script", Solid fill color for #dd0000.
Figure 9
Also add an "inner bevel" effect to the word, setting the parameters as shown in Figure 08.
The final effect is as shown.

You can also draw other pieces with the same drawing method and draw a chessboard as a background exercise.
