Android's graphical user interface is built from multiple views (view) and view groups (ViewGroup).

View is a common UI form widget, such as: button, text field;

ViewGroup is an invisible container used to define the layout of a child view, such as a grid part (GRID), a vertical list part (vertical list).

Android provides a series of XML tags that correspond to the View and ViewGroup subclasses so that we can create our own UI with XML.

Layouts is a subclass of ViewGroup.
