Cloud Computing (cloud computing) is an increase, use, and delivery model of Internet-based services, often involving the provision of dynamically scalable and often virtualized resources over the Internet. The cloud is a metaphor for the internet and the Web. In the past, the cloud was often used to represent the telecommunications network, which was later used to represent the abstraction of the Internet and underlying infrastructure. Narrow cloud computing refers to the mode of delivery and usage of IT infrastructure, which means to obtain the required resources through the network in an on-demand, easy-to-expand way; generalized cloud computing refers to the delivery and usage patterns of services, which means to obtain the required services through the network in an on-demand, easy-to-expand manner. This service can be it and software, Internet-related, but also other services. It means that computing power can also be used as a commodity through the Internet .    within a few years, cloud computing has evolved from emerging technologies into today's hot technologies. From 2003 Google publicly released core files to 2006 Amazon EC2 (Amazon Elastic Computing Cloud) commercial applications, and then to the U.S. telecom giant T (  American telephone and Telegraph Company) launched the synaptic Hosting (dynamic hosting) service, cloud computing from cost-saving tools to profitable drivers, from ISPs (Network service providers) to telecommunications companies, has successfully evolved from built-in IT systems into public services. Major companies have their own cloud computing platform, the main platform is Amazon Amazon Web Services, Google's Google Compute ENGINE,IBM Blue Cloud computing platform, Microsoft Windows Azure and so on.       Amazon Web Services is a set of services that allow programs to access Amazon's computing infrastructure. Amazon has been building and tuning this robust computing platform for years, and now anyone with access to the Internet can use it. Amazon provides several WEB services, but this series focuses only on basic services that meet the core requirements of most systems: storage, compute, messaging, and datasets.        enables complex enterprise applications by building capabilities on a reliable and cost-effective service provided by Amazon. These Web services themselves reside in the cloud outside your environment and are highly available. You pay only for the resources you use, and you don't have to pay upfront. Because the hardware is maintained and serviced by Amazon, you do not have to incur maintenance costs. This virtual infrastructure greatly reduces the "gap between rich and poor" in today's WEB environment. Within a few minutes you canFast access to an infrastructure that can take weeks in real it studios. The point is that the infrastructure is resilient and can scale and shrink as needed. Companies around the world can use this resilient computing infrastructure. Companies no longer have to take on high infrastructure investment and maintenance costs, which provides a greater opportunity for innovation. Now you can focus on your business thinking without worrying about the server, and not having to worry about the lack of disk space. According to Amazon's estimates, companies spend about 70% of their time building and maintaining infrastructure, which in fact takes only 30% of the time to drive enterprise development. Amazon handles the tedious work associated with hardware and infrastructure and ensures its high availability. Here are the main elements of this all-Web-scoped infrastructure that provides the most common building blocks for almost any application: storage: All applications need to store files, documents, user downloads, or backups. You can store everything your application needs in the Amazon simple Storage Service (S3) for scalable, reliable, high-availability, low-cost storage. Compute: Amazon Elastic Compute Cloud (EC2) can expand or shrink compute resources as needed, providing a convenient way to provide new server instances. Messaging: Amazon simple Queue Service (SQS) provides an unrestricted, reliable message delivery that you can use to eliminate coupling between application components. Datasets: Amazon SimpleDB provides scalable, indexed, and maintenance-free data set storage, as well as processing and querying capabilities. These services can be combined as needed, and they work well together. Because these services run in an Amazon environment, all communication between them is usually very fast.      Google's Google Compute engine is an infrastructure service that allows you to run Linux virtual machines with Google's servers to get more powerful data computing power. Google said at the I/O conference that Compute engine services are more cost-effective than rivals ' products, and each dollar buys more computing power than the opponent's 50%. The Google Compute Engine service is backed by a large number of Linux virtual machines, plus a total of 771886 cores for the service's processor.      Google Compute engine has three major features: 1. Extensibility Google has a huge amount of data computing power that you can use in Google's dataUse more servers when you need to use large computing power. 2. Performance Google server performance Needless to say, and cloud computing allows you to simultaneously use multiple servers and CPUs together. You can require 1, 2, 4, 8 core processors to run Linux, and each virtual core can use 3.75GB of memory. 3. Price/performance ratio is half cheaper than competitors.     IBM launched the blue Cloud computing platform on November 15, 2007 to bring customers a ready-to-buy cloud computing platform. It includes a range of cloud computing products that allow computing to run computing in an internet-like environment by architecting a distributed, globally accessible resource structure, not just on a local machine or a remote server farm (that is, a server cluster).         with IBM's technical white paper, you can get a glimpse of the internal architecture of the blue cloud computing platform. "Blue Cloud" is based on IBM's expertise in the field of large-scale computing with open standards and open source software supported by IBM software, System technologies, and services. In short, "Blue Cloud" is based on the cloud infrastructure of the IBM Almaden Research Center (Almaden), including Xen and POWERVM virtualization, Linux operating system images, and Hadoop file systems and parallel builds. "Blue Cloud" is supported by IBM Tivoli software to ensure optimal demand-based performance through the Management Server. This includes software that distributes resources in real time across multiple servers, providing customers with a seamless experience that accelerates performance and ensures stability in the most demanding environments. IBM's newly released Blue Cloud program helps users build cloud computing environments. It integrates Tivoli, DB2, WebSphere, and hardware products (currently x86 blade servers) to build a distributed, globally accessible resource structure for the enterprise. According to IBM's plan, the first "blue cloud" product to support power and x86 processor Blade Server systems will be launched in 2008 and plans to launch a cloud environment based on system Z "mainframe" and a cloud environment based on high density rack clusters.     October 27, 2008, PDC2008, former Microsoft chief Software architect Ray Ozzie, announced Microsoft's cloud computing strategy and cloud computing platform--windows Azure at the Professional developer conference in Los Angeles. The Azure Services Platform (Azure) is an internet-level cloud computing service platform running on Microsoft Data Center systems that provides operationalWindows Azure and Developer services that can be used alone or together. Azure is a flexible and interoperable platform that can be used to create applications running in the cloud or to strengthen existing applications with cloud-based features. Its open architecture provides developers with the choice of Web applications, applications for connected devices, PCs, servers, or an optimal online complex solution.      Windows Azure provides software + Services computing with cloud technology as its core. It is the foundation of the Azure Service platform. Azure is designed to help developers develop next-generation applications that span the cloud and professional data centers, creating the perfect user experience across a wide range of terminals such as PCs, web and mobile phones.     Azure is able to combine the personal capabilities of developers in the cloud with services hosted by the Microsoft Global Data Center network, such as storage, compute, and network infrastructure services. This allows developers to deploy applications both in the cloud and on the client side, enabling both the enterprise and the user to share resources. Ray Ozzie said. "Today, both for the development community and for Microsoft, it's a turning point. The technology we propose will change the rules of the game and bring new opportunities for Web developers and enterprise developers.         Microsoft will ensure the openness and interoperability of the Azure Service platform throughout. We are convinced that the business model and the user experience of getting information from the Web will change accordingly. Most importantly, these technologies will give our users the ability to decide whether to deploy applications on cloud-based internet services or deploy them on the client, or combine the two according to their actual needs.
