vs Low version When you open a project that is created in a high version, you are prompted to "the selected file is a solution file but was created with a newer version of this application and cannot be opened"

Workaround:

WordPad Open Solution sln file



Change it to the current VS version you are using

VS2010 instead:

Microsoft Visual Studio Solution File, Format Version 11.00
# Visual Studio 2010

VS2008 instead:
Microsoft Visual Studio Solution File, Format Version 10.00
# Visual Studio 2008
