In MySQL, if you need to clear the table, you only need

TRUNCATE table_name;

Then, if there is a self-increment ID field, it will revert back to 1,

However, PostgreSQL is slightly different from MySQL, and the self-increment field of PostgreSQL is implemented by sequence sequence.

So when you clear the table, you also need to restore the sequence

TRUNCATE TABLE table_name RESTART IDENTITY;
