[Found] ASP. NET Development Server failed to start listening on port XXXXX and made an attempt to access the socket in a way that the access permission is not allowed-Solution

The following errors often occur when debugging ASP. NET:

Error message box: ASP. NET development server failed to start listening on port XXXXX, trying to access the socket in a way that the access permission is not allowed

Then, the localhost Web server of Visual Studio cannot be connected.

Solution: Find the SLN file of the Project. By default, the SLN file is located in c: \ Documents ents and Settings \ User Name \ My Documents ents \ Visual Studio 2005 \ projects \ ApplicationProgramName \ *. sln

Open the file in notepad and find the vwdport = "****"

Modify the port number.
