FreeBSD 10.0 enhances virtualization capabilities

FreeBSD announced the release of FreeBSD 10.0-release. The main new features include the default package management tool pkg, enhanced virtualization, adding Bhyve, Virtio, and native quasi-virtualization drivers to support the use of FreeBSD as a guest operating system in Microsoft's Hyper-V; GCC is no longer installed on the schema clang as the default compiler The ZFS file system joins SSD trim support, supports high-performance LZ4 compression algorithms, supports raspberry Pi, and so on.
