Freetextbox usage problem summary

A website project was used in freetextbox in background Content Management some time ago. The following problems were encountered:

Freetextbox Official Website: http://freetextbox.com

1. freetextbox 2.0 cannot be normally displayed in IE8 and becomes textarea

Cause: freetextbox 2.0 is not compatible with IE8.

Solution: Upgrade freetextbox to 3.0. Solve the problem.

2. In the text attribute of freetextbox, image and Link References are lost.

I have been troubled by this problem for a long time and have not found a solution.

Symptom: Use freetextbox to generate the body of a message containing pictures (http://www.website.com/images/20081010.jpg) and links (http://www.website.com/news/001) of the local website ). Send the email to the target email address, open the email, and find that the image reference of the website is changed to (images/20081010.jpg), And the link reference is changed to (News/001)

Cause: When the removeservernamefromurls attribute is true, freetextbox automatically removes or shields the reference to the local server name in the URL when obtaining the text attribute.

Solution: Modify the removeservernamefromurls attribute to false and resend the email containing the URL reference of the local website. When you open the email, you will find that the reference to the local image and link is correct.
