In previous articles, replacing the default search engine in IE with powerful common search such as Google requires you to open the Registry Editor and modify the key values one by one. This is a little troublesome. Now, we only need to download and import a registry file, which is easy to implement and very convenient.
Enter "www.google.com/google.reg.pdf" in the IE address bar to download google.reg. then, double-click google.regto import the file to the registration table. Close the "Search" column that has been opened in IE, and click "Search" on the toolbar to check whether the search engine has become Google. If you want to restore IE's original default search engine, you only need to enter "www.google.com/default.reg.pdf" in the IE address column to download default.reg, and then import it to the registration table to restore it.
