[Help] linuxdhcp and linuxdhcp problems-Linux Enterprise Application-Linux server application information, the following is a detailed description. The company has two networks, A: 192.168.1.x B: 10.5.3.x
The DHCP server of Network A is 192.168.1.254, which is a windows system and A gateway of Network.
The DHCP server of Network B is 10.5.3.1 a LINUX system and a gateway of Network B.
The two networks are not connected and independent of each other.
A work computer generally uses the obtained IP address 10.5.3.x in Network B, but sometimes it is switched to the network cable of network A temporarily because it needs to go to Network A (there are two network cables, are B and A respectively), do not manually update the IP address immediately will automatically become 192.168.1.x (allocated by the WINDOWS Server )..
After the IP address is changed to the network cable of Network B, the DHCP server of LINUX cannot allocate ip addresses. Generally, it takes several minutes to obtain the IP address.
It may be better If you manually update ipconfig/release.
Why is there such a difference between DHCP servers...
I want to figure out what is going on and whether to change the settings. Thank you.
