Experiment 2. STP (Spanning Tree Protocol)

Lab Objectives

To prevent broadcast storms in redundant environments, spanning tree (STP) protocol is introduced. Using the Spanning Tree Protocol, you can set a port on a redundant line to a blocking state to prevent the occurrence of broadcast storms. When a channel fails, the blocked port automatically enters the forwarding status to ensure network smoothness.
