1. Open the Keychain Access app on your MAC first, as shown in the figure

2. Next, click on the "Keychain Access-preferences" option in the menu bar, as shown in the figure

3. In the Keychain Preferences window, tick the "Show Keychain status in menu bar" option, as shown in the figure

4. Click the lock icon in the menu bar, then click the "Lock Screen" option to lock the screen.
