If the computer operating system is Windows 98/Me:
1. Click "Start" & rarr; "settings" & rarr; "printer" and find the "HP jet 3740 Series" printer icon;
2. Right-click the printer icon and click "properties. In the displayed "properties" window, click the "details" tab.
3. Go to the "details" page and click "add Port.
