When the iomega device has no small display screen or external video interfaces to connect to the monitor, it is necessary to discover the IP address of the device through the network. This section describes how to view the IP address of a device through the network device list on the local machine.
When the device and the client pc are in the same L2 network environment, the administrator can try the following operations to view the IP address of the device;
Open the resource manager in windows and click "network". The iomega device icon is displayed in "other devices.
Right-click and select Properties. In the displayed dialog box, you can view the IP address and MAC address of the device. Note: If the IP address of the iomega device changes during use and the PC of the client cannot connect to the device, the IP address displayed in this method is the previous historical information.
