How does the Win7 system adjust the hard drive letter?
Step One: Click Start, select Run from the Start menu, enter "Diskmgmt.msc" (without double quotes) in the pop-up Run window, click OK, or press ENTER to open the Disk Management window.
Open Disk Management Step two: All hard disk partitions are listed in the Disk Management window, and the change Drive letter and Path window pops up when you right-click on the partition where you want to adjust the drive, and select "Change Drives letter and path" from the shortcut menu that pops up.

Click the small triangle on the right to have a drop-down box, and select an available drive letter (letter) from the Drop-down list.
