Change the home page in Internet Explorer
Set the home page so that every time you open Internet Explorer, you will open the Web site that you frequently visit and wait for your browsing.
To add or change a home page
1. On the Start screen, click or click Internet Explorer to open Internet Explorer.
2. Go to the page you want to set as the home page.
3. From the right edge of the screen to the middle of the light sweep, and then click "Settings."
(If you are using a mouse, point to the lower-right corner of the screen, and then move the mouse pointer up, and then click Settings.) )
4. Click or click "Options", under "Home", click or click "Custom".
5. Click or click "Add Current Site", edit the URL as needed, and then click or click "Add" to add the site as one of your homepage.
The next time you open a new browsing session, the site and any other sites that you set as the home page will automatically load.
To add or change a home page on the desktop
1. Open the desktop, and then click or click the Internet Explorer icon in the taskbar.
2. Click or click the "Tools" button, and then click or click Internet Options.
On the General tab, under Home, enter the URL of the site you want to set as the home page. You can add more than one URL, or you can add a Web site that you are currently viewing by clicking or clicking Use Current page. If you add more than one URL, place each URL in a separate row.
3. Click or click "Apply" and click "OK". The next time you open a new browsing session or window (or click or click the Home button), your home page will be automatically loaded.
Attention
The home page is displayed only when you open a new browsing session or a new window, or when you tap or click the Home button in the desktop version of Internet Explorer.
If you add a site as a home page in desktop Internet Explorer, the site is added to Internet Explorer that is opened from start, and vice versa.
