How to copy a hard disk using ghost
1. Start the computer on a floppy disk using Ghost. Then enter the Ghost command and press the Enter key to open the main interface of the Ghost program. Point To "local (local Machine)"> "Disk" menu commands, and click "To Disk.
2. In the "Select local source drive by clicking on the drive number" dialog box that appears, Select the local source drive and click the corresponding drive number, click Select the appropriate drive as the source drive (in this example, select the second drive), and then click OK.
TIPS: You must also note that you cannot select the wrong source disk. If you mistakenly treat the target disk as the source disk, all data in the source disk will be lost and it is difficult to recover!
3. Open the "Select local destination drive by clicking on the drive number (Select the local drive and click the corresponding drive number)" dialog box, select the target drive (3rd drives in this example) and click OK.
Tip: During hard disk copy-on operations, you can copy the target drive even if the source drive capacity is inconsistent. However, in this case, the source drive capacity must be smaller than the target drive capacity to ensure that data in the source drive will not be lost.
4. The current Details of the target Drive are listed in the "Destination Drive Details (target Drive Details)" dialog box. You only need to click OK.
5. Open the prompt box to warn that this operation will overwrite all data on the target drive (that is, data on the target drive will be lost ). Confirm that the copy operation will not cause data loss. Click Yes to start the copy operation.
6. Depending on the computer hardware configuration and the size of the data stored in the image file, the copy operation takes different time. After the copy operation is complete, all content (including partition information) in the source drive will be copied to the target drive intact. Finally, in the Clone Complete dialog box, Click Reset Computer to restart the Computer.
