In some special cases, we need a "virtual NIC" in the Windows system to achieve certain working environments, Windows 8 is created in a way that is different from other systems, and this article uses pictures to demonstrate how the "virtual network card" is created.
First of all, under the traditional desktop, the mouse to move to the lower left corner of the screen, click the right mouse button (or use shortcut win+x), in the Open menu to choose "Computer Management";
In the Computer Management window that opens, select Device Manager on the left, and then in the right window, right-click on the hostname and choose Add Obsolete hardware.
Click "Next" directly;
In the following figure A-b order, select Install I manually select hardware from list (advanced), then click Next;
In the wizard to add hardware, first pull the slider shown in the following figure "A" to the bottom, select "Network adapter" according to the icon "B" and select "Next" when clicked;
Wait a moment, we can see the interface shown in the following figure, first, we select Microsoft in the manufacturer on the left, then in the right side of the network adapter, pull the slider to the middle, locate and select the Microsoft Km-test loop adapter, and then click Next ";
Select "Next" and wait patiently for the installation;
The following diagram interface prompts installation success, we click "Finish";
Back in Device Manager, check the network adapters to see the virtual NIC that has been added.
