First type:
A. Start Word and open the Word document that you want to extract the pictures from.
B. Right-click the picture you want to extract, and then select the Save as Picture option on the shortcut menu that appears.
C. In the subsequent Save File dialog box, given a picture file name, click the "Save" button and the corresponding picture is saved separately.
The second type:
A. Open the Word document first, (here use office2010 for example) to open the Word document that you want to extract the picture from.
B. Open the Save As dialog box, set Save type to Web page, give a filename (such as picture), and click the Save button.
C. Enter the folder where the Web page file is located, and you will find a name called "File name. Files" (such as "picture. Files"), in which the pictures in the previous Word document are saved in one.
D. In Word, you can do this if you want to extract a picture from a document.
