How to integrate with Google APIs and Google Apps (1)----Google APIs for a brief introduction

Google's apps offer a lot of apps, such as Google ads, Google quests, Google calendars, Google Blogger,google plus,google maps, and much more, see,

is just the tip of the iceberg in Google APIs (Google API supports about 80 different kinds and versions of Google APIs, which I'll list in more detail in a later section). Sometimes, we need to integrate the data of these systems into our own systems (Web systems that we develop, or other systems). At this point, we have to learn how to use Google APIs to help us integrate between different systems.

In general, Google APIs typically provide a two-hour way for third-party systems and applications to integrate

(1) API class library, such as Java class Library, Ruby class library, etc.

(2) RESTFul Web Services

Because RESTful Web services are simpler and are transmitted over HTTP-based protocols, they can be used to invoke and test the RESTful Web services provided by Google APIs as long as the tools that support the HTTP protocol are available.

So in my series, I'll focus on sharing how to invoke and use the RESTful Web services exposed by the Google API.
