How to make a luminous word?

Effect:

Steps:

1. Create a new RGB image, the size of 12x6 cm, the background is black.

2. Use the Type tool to enter the text "glow" in the image, and the text color can be set to white.

3. Use the Mobile tool to move text to the center of the image, perform the layer | text | Transform layer command, and convert the text layer to a normal layer.

4. Drag the "glow" to the bottom of the layers panel to create a new button, copy a copy layer.

5. Ctrl-click the Copy layer in the Panel to install the text selection.

6. Execute the "select | modify | extend" command, with an expansion of 4 pixels (depending on the situation).

7. Perform the Select | Feather command with a feather radius of 3 pixels (depending on the situation).

8. Set the foreground color to pale yellow green, and then perform the edit | fill command to fill the selection with the foreground color.
