Building an SOA requires a lot of technical support, but don't forget that the most important and overarching goal of SOA is business value and agility. Following four aspects will ensure that you are always focused on your business when implementing your SOA project.

First, prioritize projects based on the interests of users, not technology. From the user's most urgent needs to start, the first to solve the specific business problems, rather than start with the bottom of the technology to build. In some enterprises, IT departments define business processes, which in fact do not need to be done at all.

Second, don't use SOA terminology to confuse users. As the project is implemented, users will certainly become increasingly confused about SOA, and they want to know how the business benefits from this IT project, not what you intend to do. Third, identify the processes that SOA can help automate human operations. Understand the user's main annoyance and list them all.
