My nephew prefers computers. When I play on my computer, I often turn on and off the computer that I can easily turn on. This reminds me of a confirmation dialog box before deleting files on the computer to avoid misoperation. In Windows XP by default, if you press the switch on the chassis, Windows XP will directly shut down without any prompt dialog box. Can you ask your computer to say hello before it is shut down to prevent the system from shutdown due to the disturbance of your nephew or our misoperation? The answer is yes. The procedure is as follows:
Right-click any blank area on the desktop and select "properties" from the shortcut menu to open the "Display Properties" dialog box (1 ),
Then, select the screen saver tab in the dialog box to open the screen saver page. Click "power supply (O)…" in the dialog box )..." Click to open the "power option properties" dialog box (2 ),
Then select the "advanced" tab from the dialog box to open the "advanced" tab page (3 ), in the "power button" field in the dialog box, click the drop-down list arrow in the list box after "(E)" when the computer power button is pressed, select 2nd items ("Ask me what to do") in the list box, and click "OK" or "Apply" in the dialog box. Press the power button to try ...... In Windows XP, the "Close computer" dialog box appears (4)
Q: "What do you want the computer to do ?" You can choose to "shut down", "standby", and "restart the computer" -- OK, and decide your operation on your own!
