How to modify the MAC address of a computer

• For Ubuntu or Mac OSX:

Open the terminal (Press CTRL + ALT + T on Ubuntu) and run the following command:

Sudo ifconfig eth0 downsudo ifconfig eth0 HW ether XX: xxsudo ifconfig eth0 up

Note: "eth0" indicates the interface of the network card. You can enter sudo ifconfig to view the network card information. Ubuntu can also view "Active Network Connection" in "connection information" to obtain the interface information, mac OSX can also view the NIC information in "system information;

"XX: XX" should be replaced by the MAC address to be modified;
