How to optimize the Linux System

6. Use the kcmshell desktop command to reduce a virtual desktop to one.

7. Delete the apphotkey. desktop file in the/usr/share/autostart/directory. This program is used to start the application hotkey, which is generally not used.

8. If you do not have a usb device, remove the usb Mgr. desktop file in the/usr/share/autostart/directory. At the same time, disable the usb Mgr service in the system service and set it to manual.

9. Do not run multiple programs at the same time during running. This is not optimized, but it can improve the running speed of the current program.

10. When using firefox to access the Internet, do not open multiple pages at the same time.

11. retain only the root user. Do not add other users.

12. If you do not access the Internet, or if you do not access the Internet for a long time, you can turn off the network service in the system service. After it is turned off, the system startup and running speed will be greatly improved. (Of course we should take this article into consideration)

13. Run the rftask Task Manager and start the "foreground window priority scheduling" function in the application subwindow. However, this may lead to a slight slow switching speed when switching to the background task.
