How to remove the project name at tomcat startup and the tomcat project name

Problem requirement: Generally, localhost: 8080/XXXX is used when tomcat is started. Now, you want to directly use localhost: 8080 to enter the system.

Solution: In the tomcat installation directory, locate server. xml under .. \ apache-tomcat-7.0.75 \ conf, and find the <Context> label under the <Host> label.

Set to <Context docBase = "XXXX" path = "" reloadable = "true"/>. The project XXXX is deployed under the webapps root directory.
