In general, a complete streaming media services system requires three components: encoders, streaming servers, and players. Encoders encode content sources, such as MP3 files or microphone inputs, and send encoded content to a streaming server, and the streaming server publishes them to the Internet so that the client's player can play online as long as it is connected to a streaming server.

Using Winamp to erect MP3 Network radio station

Setting up a QT streaming media server

In peacetime, most of what we see is to build MWF (vector map window files, map Windows file) or an RM streaming server, but do you know how the QuickTime (QT) streaming server should be built?
