How to track computer blue screen problems

1. Ensure that the computer does not automatically restart after the blue screen, so that you have time to view the problem information prompted in the blue screen. The setting method is as follows:

Control Panel-> performance and maintenance-> system-> advanced-> Start and fault recovery-> Settings

 

Remove the check box before "Automatic Restart;

2. Write fault information to the hard disk;

In "Write debugging information", select "Small memory dump (64 KB )"

The small dump directory is automatically set to % SystemRoot % \ minidump.

3. View fault details. You can install the blue screen fault check software: bluescreenview.exe.

You can see the application software or driver software that causes the blue screen.
