Believe that the use of PS and other tools to repair the map layer is not unfamiliar to the layer board in use is an essential directive. ZBrush can add multiple layers to a single document, in effect creating a newly created layer as a detached document that can interact between layers.
Layers Control Board for each layer has a preset storage space, just start ZBrush, the default is only one layer, to add layers, click the Layer Control Panel Create button, a new layer will be created on the control board, if you are drawing or editing in the document, first to activate the working layer, the activated Layer button will show the contour line.
Attention:
(1) If there is a floating object in the current layer and then activates or creates another layer, the software makes a snapshot of the floating object, so it cannot operate independently in the remaining layers.
(2) When a working layer is activated, the other layers are hidden, to make all layers visible, press shift+ Click to activate any one of the layers.
Painting in a composite layer
When there are elements in different layers, and new objects are added, by default ZBrush uses most of the preceding elements to determine the direction, whether it is within the layer or not.
Auto Select (Automatically selected)
This feature can quickly transform the active work layer in the layer, to use Auto Select, press and hold the "~" Key on the keyboard and click on a document to activate the element of the layer, Auto Select is open by default, note: After activating the layer, press the "~" Key again and click the left mouse button drag to scroll the current layer.
Clear (Clear)
Removes all elements from the current layer.
Fill (full)
Fills the current layer with the current color and, if the texture is active, fills the texture into the current layer.
Bake (Bake accompany)
All basic elements are converted into the activation layer, and the elements retain color and position information, including any color changes introduced by coloring, but this loses material rest and all elements change to normal color material.
B blend (bake with mix amount)
Sets the number of blends between element shading and non-shading when bake is executed.
This numeric value determines the percentage that each element is shaded with, and sets the percentage from 100 to determine the number of non-shaded elements used, take an element that is shaded as a percentage of the sphere as an example, the element has a grayscale value of 90 element coloring, and the element non-shaded value is 255, if baking with B blend at 80% to bake the image, The software adds 0.8 times 90 and adds it to 0.2 times 255, terminating with an element with a grayscale value of 123.
Attention:
When the original shading elements (materials and so on), in any percentage less than 100 baking with the layer is licensed, and this is combined with the baking image, so the rendered image is usually darker than the previous, here is a method, you can set some lighting settings, materials, etc., into the basic color baking percentage, and then control the change of light, Materials, and so on, to be combined with the original settings.
Flip H (Flip horizontal)/flip V (flip vertically)
Elements of horizontal or vertical layers.
Displace H (horizontal displacement)/displace V (vertical displacement)
You can use the mouse to swipe horizontally or vertically to move the contents of a layer, or to add values from the keyboard, if you use the mouse to swipe, you must release the mouse button to complete the displacement, B blend can control the degree of coloring added to the baking image.
You can also move layer content horizontally or vertically by holding down the "~" key and dragging in the document window.
W (wrap mode)
When opening W wrap mode causes the element to move horizontally or vertically across the layer to the other side of the "parcel", for example, if a layer contains a sphere and moves it from the moving layer, the sphere moves through the right side of the document, then on the left, and when closed, the element movement is lost after the document edge, and the default is open.
Displace Z (z-shift)
You can use the mouse to swipe to move the content inside and out, or click to type a value from the keyboard.
You can also move the layer content by holding down the "~" and ALT keys and dragging the sub-Z axis vertically in the document window, dragging the moving layer away and dragging the moving layer closer.
Delete (remove)
Deleting the active layer from the document cannot be undone, and if the document has only one layer, the deletion cannot be performed.
Create (created)
Adds a new layer to the document, the currently added layer is the active state.
Dup (copy)
Add a copy of the activation layer to the document, the new layer is activated at the same time on the copied layer, only the active layer is copied, and the layer (layer) control Board must have at least one empty slot; The layers dashboard has 16 empty slots to hold the layer.
Mrg (merge)
Causes the activation layer to merge with its previous layer.
