Html. Label

The Label helper method returns a <label/> element and uses the arguments of type String to determine the rendered text and for attribute values.

Calling Html.label ("Genreid") generates the following Html markup

for ="genreid">Genre</label>

The function of a label is to display additional information for other input elements.

If the user clicks the label, the browser sends the focus to the relevant input control, which is especially useful for check boxes and radio buttons,

This can provide a larger click area for the user, rather than just a check box and radio button itself.
