I feel that any software tool should be applied in principle, or we will soon become slaves of the tool!

I have been engaged in it for a short time, engaged in development in many fields, developed many systems, and used many development languages and software tools. A lot of things in between or in the early stages of using it feel that it is a perfect thing that is omnipotent, but with the gradual development, it is found that it is more and more shortcomings, we are getting increasingly disappointed with it. For example, the data warehouse product we use has gone through the following process: SGI mineset --- Bo --- Sybase IQ ------ ORACLE Express server ---- Informix metacube ---- SAS.
At last, I realized that no tool is perfect. More importantly, any software tool is just a tool, it is just a tool that helps us build a system for users. It is our fundamental goal to establish an application system to meet user needs.
Any tool has its own advantages and disadvantages. If you use it well, it will certainly meet our requirements, and nothing can be reached.
Do you think so?
