IE9 installation failed, error code 800F081E solution

Previously, we also introduced the solution that cannot be installed after IE9 is uninstalled. However, this method is caused by the failure to install the KB982861 program during IE9 installation, it is not the same as the problem to be solved this time.
If the error code 800F081E is displayed (as shown in the figure above), we can try to upgrade the Directx component to solve the problem. The following is the official download address of the Directx upgrade program. After the installation is successful, we can re-download IE9 to install it.

If you still fail to install IE9 after using the above method, open the IE9_main file in C: Windows and copy all the content for further analysis.
