In linux, apache is configured, httpd is dead, but subsys is locked-Linux general technology-Linux technology and application information. The following is a detailed description. [Sun @ Sun conf] $ sudo service httpd start
Starting httpd:
[Sun @ Sun conf] $ pstree httpd
No user name: httpd
[Sun @ Sun conf] $ apachectl configtest
Syntax OK
[Sun @ Sun conf] $ service httpd status
Httpd is dead, but subsys is locked
