In linux, you can safely delete usb hard disks, flash drives, card readers, usb flash drives, and other devices. -- Linux general technology-Linux technology and application information. For details, refer to the following section. First, I am a newbie to linux. I am an idiot for asking questions. :)
In Ubuntu8.10, I used a card reader with a 2GSD card as a usb flash drive. in linux, I mounted and unmounted usb flash drives, the problem is that after I unmount the drive, I found that the card reader lights were not directly destroyed as they were after safely deleting the USB flash drive in windows. Instead, the lights were on for several seconds and then flickering for several seconds; because some time ago, when I forcibly pulled out the card reader, I paid for an SD card, so I did not dare to pull it directly. Finally, I switched it off and pulled it down.
Weak ask: is the performance of hardware securely deleted in linux and windows so different? (O): tx
