3. Run VMware v6.0 to create a virtual machine

When installing FreeBSD, I first download a freebsd startup image ISO file, load it here, and then directly install it through the network (for details, see the following article), saving the trouble of recording the CD.

3. Now you can start it!

 

 

* You think it is an independent computer. After the computer is started, you can set the cmos bios according to F2, for example, from the startup sequence.

Set the VM to start from the CD (steps are required before the operating system is installed ).

 

Now, after you attach an optical drive to a virtual machine (whether from a CD-Rom to an optical drive or from an ISO file), the operating system will be started from the CD-Rom.
