Install MQ5.3 on RedHatas5-Linux Enterprise Application-Linux server application information. For more information, see. You can install MQ5.3 on rh5. however, the following error is reported when you use crtmqm-q qm1 to create a queue manager:

Crtmqm: error while loading shared libraries: libm. so.6: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

I thought it was because there was a problem with the Library of the RH5 system, but it was not the latest. So I went online and found the update package of n multiple libm. so.6, and the problem could not be solved. Later, I learned on a website that NPTL is a ghost, because the NPTL2.5 of RH5 I installed should be relatively new, which is a thread mode not supported by MQ5.3, that is to say, MQ5.3 cannot load RedHat5. MQ6 supports NPTL2.5 or later versions. You can download an installation package.

Statement for querying the NPTL version:

$ Getconf GNU_LIBPTHREAD_VERSION

This produces output results similar to the following:

NPTL 2.5
