Qq installation under Linux-general Linux technology-Linux technology and application information, the following is a detailed description. Linux is not as complex as you think. Let's talk about installing QQ in Linux today. I am using LumaQQ, but I have not tried other projects yet. First, we can download the QQ to use from http://lumaqq.linuxsir.org/main/index.php. I am using LumaQQ with JRE. After downloading it, put it under a directory, and then we can start to install it.

1. Take lumaqq_0_2-linux_gtk_x86_with_jre.tar.gz as an example to copy it to a directory. Assume It is/usr/local.

2. run the command tar zxvf lumaqq_0_2-linux_gtk_x86_with_jre.tar.gz to decompress the package, which will generate a directory LumaQQ under/usr/local, which can be changed to the one you need, you can copy and rename LumaQQ wherever you want.

Instead of using the tar command, we can decompress the package using File Roller and then run the shell script of lumaqq.
