Installation Method:
1. root Login
2. install the c compiler yum install gcc (basically available)

4. Check the kernel and kernel-devel versions.
# Uname-r
Kernel-2.6.23.8-63.fc8
# Rpm-q kernel-devel
Kernel-devel-2.6.23.8-63.fc8
(Note: I upgraded from the kernel-2.6.23.8-42.fc8, and the results of the kemel and kemel-devel both have 42 and 68 versions, I deleted the earlier version. We recommend that you use yumex to make the system have a unique kernel and kernel-devel with the same version)
5. If the two versions are inconsistent, perform the upgrade.
Yum-y upgrade kernel-devel
And restart
6. Double-click VMware-workstation-6.0.2-59824.x86_64.rpm Installation
7. After the installation is complete, execute vmware on the terminal, as shown below:
Vmware is installed, but it has not been (correctly) configured
For this system. To (re-) configure it, invoke the following command:
/Usr/bin/vmware-config.pl)
8. Execute/usr/bin/vmware-config.pl on the terminal for configuration, select YES and NO as needed. It is not clear that it is recommended to set all the way to ENTER by default.
In case of copyright agreement, press q to exit and agree, continue to ENTER until the installation is complete.
9. Now you can see VMware-workstation and VMware-player in application-system tools.
10. I will not talk about the rest. I will use the tutorials and SNS on the Internet. I Will GOOGLE it myself.
