This system is used as a mobile system, you can enjoy your own personalized operating system wherever you go.

First, download the ISO file of the latest Ubuntu 10.10 version from the official Ubuntu website, and then dial it. Insert the prepared mobile hard disk and Cd, restart the computer, choose to start from the optical drive, follow the Ubuntu installation instructions, select Simplified Chinese language, select installation, select forward, step by step installation, note: You must select "manual partitioning". Do not select automatic partitioning because the result of automatic partitioning is that the entire hard disk of the notebook is automatically partitioned, and the original data file and Windows system will be lost.

After you select manual partitioning, the system will scan all hard disks attached to your computer, including mobile hard disks. Generally, the portable hard disk is sda and the mobile hard disk is sdb, you can also determine the partition information displayed. At this time, we select the prepared free partition and then follow the prompts to partition. The most basic root partition and swap partition must exist, under normal circumstances, there are two partitions, the swap partition can be m, the maximum is 1G, do not be large, the swap partition do not need to be linked.

After partitioning, follow the prompts to install the system. Each step is very simple. I will not repeat it here until the installation is successful.

After the installation is successful, the laptop will be set to 1, USB-HDD boot, 2, Drive boot, 3, local hard disk boot, and then restart, the system can be started from the mobile hard drive to enter the Ubuntu system.

Of course, the biggest benefit of this mobile hard disk is that it can run on any computer that can be started from a USB port device, which is equivalent to having a mobile computer.
