Installation of MATLAB Linux

For details about how to install a Linux Enterprise Application on a Linux server, see. The installation of Matlab for linux has three ISO. We recommend that you use md5sum for verification.

The following md5sum is for reference only. It is not the original md5sum, but there is no CRC problem and file error in ISO installation.

Log on as a root user

Create a CD image Mount directory and installation directory

# Mkdir cd1; mkdir cd2; mkdir cd3

# Mount-o loop maid

Create installation path/opt/matlab and copy license. dat

# Mkdir/opt/matlab

# Cp cd1/license. dat/opt/matlab/

License. dat in the first ISO Installation

Install

Switch the installation path: # cd/opt/matlab

#/.../Matlab iso/cd1/install

Start the installation, and require the provision of cd2, cd3. After the installation is complete, exit.

How to copy license. lic

Copy the license. lic in CD1 from the image or CD to/opt/matlab/etc/

1 SERVER localhost ANY 5353.

2 VENDOR MLM

Change the localhost on the first line to your host name. You can use the hostname command to obtain the host name.

Install basic configurations

#/Opt/matlab/install_matlab

If you do not have special requirements, Enter all the way

Start matlab
Started as a normal user account, and root does not allow running matlab
$ Matlab
