1. Install the VirtualBox virtual machine
After the installation is complete, run VirtualBox and configure 3 virtual machines, which are displayed as follows:
The version information is as follows:
Set the default Virtual PC location ("General" in manage-global settings) to a directory in D:\ as shown in:
2. Configure multiple virtual network cards to simulate multiple networks
Select "Manage"-"Global Settings" from the VirtualBox manager to open the "VirtualBox settings" as shown in:
Set up 8 "host-only (host-only) network" virtual networks, as follows:
Host-only Ethernet Adapter:
Host-only Ethernet adapter#2:
Host-only Ethernet adapter#3:
Host-only Ethernet adapter#4: Spare.
Host-only Ethernet adapter#5:
Host-only Ethernet adapter#6:
Host-only Ethernet adapter#7:
Host-only Ethernet adapter#8: Spare
3. Install and configure a new virtual machine system
I installed the Ubuntu12.04, the following is the installation is successful, run no problem.
4. Import and export the installed virtual machine
I have imported 3 virtual machines, Windows 2003SP1, Windows 2003sp1_1, and Ubuntu12.04, respectively, see below:
5. Run common command-line programs on a virtual machine
The first is the chmod, chown, and LS commands under the Linux system, see.
Explain briefly the features of these three commands:
Chmod: Changes the properties of the file. For example: chmod u+x file represents an additional Execute permission for the file owner.
Chown: Changes the owner of the specified file to the specified user or group.
Ls: Lists the files in the current directory.
The following are the mkdir, CP, and RM commands, see.
Mkdir: Create a new directory;
Cp: File Copy command;
Rm: Delete File command
Finally is the Ifconfig command, see.
Ifconfig: A command used to display or configure a network device (network interface card).
The following tests the commands under Windows System, first open the Windows2003 virtual machine, first of all the Dir and mkdir commands, see.
Dir: Print out all the files in the current directory;
Mkdir: With Linux
The following is the net naming, see.
Net: It contains the management network environment, services, users, logins and other important management functions, using it can easily manage the local or remote computer network environment, as well as the operation and configuration of various service programs, or user management and login management.
Here is the ipconfig command, see.
Ipconfig: Ifconfig command with Linux
Here is the netstat command, see.
Netstat:netstat is a program that accesses the network and related information in the kernel, and it provides reports on TCP connections, TCP and UDP snooping, and process memory management.
6. On-Machine practice (clearance test)
1. I am testing Windows7 with Ubuntu, the command is: nmap–ss–po–sv–o219.219.216.214, this command not only return to the destination host open port, but also provide the target host system information.
The following is the result of the return:
2. This command shares the contents of the C:\Test folder in Helloc name
Then map the \\192.168.1.101\helloc to Y (under the D:\temp directory), see:
