The history of a forum is the history of the Internet in China. Even today, even when many people are talking about the Internet, blogs and podcasts are under pressure, the Forum still has a special charm and is worth looking forward to in the next 10 years.
One day in June January 2007, three men wore exaggerated T-shirts and swiped their cards to buy a box of beer, dressed as fans and appeared in a club in Zhongguancun. instead of watching the ball, they came to participate in the 10 th anniversary of the Sina forum Wulin conference.
These three men are not general people. They are the least silent representatives of the "majority of silence". They are famous online writers of the hacker club (which sounds a bit like a mafia or a hacker, however, they are members of the F4. they specifically write articles to criticize writers in the IT industry. in that small club that night, more than 500 netizens were gathered and dressed in the same style.
10 years ago, when a group of "quasi-celebrities" today opened a "heaven and earth meeting" communication platform on sitonglifang. today, sitonglifang has become a sina forum with 30 million registered users, and many of the "quasi-celebrities" have been famous, such as Ning Caishen, the screenwriter of the popular Chinese TV series "Wulin rumor, lu Chuan, a cutting-edge director, once stunned by "Wukong Chuan" and famous for "hokh Sisi. in addition to these cultural circles, Wang Juntao, the founder of 8848, and Wang Zhidong, Xie Wen, Fang Xingdong, and other influential figures in the itfield have all played out in the forum.
Over the past 10 years, forums are no longer young than blogs, podcasts, and countless new internet forms. however, such a group of people who are no longer young are still very enthusiastic about gathering together in the name of the Forum. as hardcore netizens, they celebrate not only the 10th birthday of sina forum, but also the first 10 years of Chinese Internet culture.
Starting
In 1978, the first 8080-chip-based BBS system was born in Chicago. in China, the first BBS site began to appear in around 1991, but in 1997, BBS in China was still in the chat room era, and most early Internet users were still using BBS via Telnet, however, due to the simple Telnet interface and complicated operations, most of the users are professionals, which is difficult to popularize.
The true rise of forums began in 1997, and the true rise of the Chinese internet was around the same time.
Ten years ago, in the early winter morning, the football-obsessed Fuzhou man Lao Rong flew to Dalian Golden State to watch the World Cup qualifiers with his 9-year-old son, who was also obsessed with football. they finally ended with disappointment. A few days later, he sat in front of the computer and wrote an article about almost all fans crying, "Dalian Golden State has no tears", and then posted it to the Forum (Sina's predecessor) at that time) on the sports salon. this forum has gathered a group of sports fans, and many sports reporters and editors are searching for news clues. this post immediately spread across the football and network worlds.
Two weeks after the release, this article was reproduced by the full version of "Southern Weekend" on March 13, November 14, 1997. the topic, together with the forum moderator named Gooooooal, first published a newspaper. He was the first editor of Sina. He is currently the executive vice president and chief editor of Sina worldwide.
