Java-import *

I've seen a lot of videos before, and now I've noticed that some of the lecturers are wrong, so let's say import *, for example:

When import java.util.*, it means importing the classes used in the file (not all classes), for example, at import:

Import java.util.*;

Then write in the source code:

list<string> strings = new arraylist<string> ();

After compiling, with the Jd-gui tool, you can see that only lists and ArrayList are imported in the import statement.
