Java--xml Overview

XML is called Extensible Markup Language, which describes data with tags and sub-tags

Declaring an XML document:

<?xml version= "1.0", encoding= "Utf-8"?>

Comments:

<!--Content--

Labels must appear in pairs:<name> Zhang San </name>

Empty elements: There is no content between the tags. Can be written as:<name/>

XML root element:

1. Each XML document must have a single root element

2. The root element is an element that completely contains all the other elements in the document

3. All things elements must be defined in the root element
