Xiao Jie:
Halt stops the system and does not turn off the power supply
Reboot restarts the system.
Power off

Switch to Super User: su

Directory operation: mkdir, rmdir, cd
Xiao Jie:
Mkdir create a new directory
Rmdir Delete directory
Switch cd to the specified directory

Display Directory: pwd, ls
Xiao Jie:
Pwd displays the location of the current directory
Ls displays the content in the current directory

File Editing: vi
Xiao Jie:
In a text editor in linux, common Commands include q (not conservative exit), wq (save and quit), and q! (Force quit without saving)

File Operations: cp, mv, rm

Show file content: cat, more, less, head, tail
Xiao Jie:
Cat displays all file content
More: display the file content on pages. Press the Space key to flip down the page.
Less page display, with the direction key to control up and down pages
Head: displays the file header.
Tail displays the content at the end of a file.
