Note: Linux applications and files are case sensitive!
The file name contains letters, numbers, "." (DOT), "_" (underline), and "-" (hyphen ). Linux allows other symbols except the above symbol to be used in file names, but it is not recommended that you do so. Some Conversion characters (that is, these characters are borrowed by the system to indicate some special meanings) have special meanings in the Linux COMMAND Interpreter (shell is similar to the COMMAND processor COMMAND in DOS. COM ). Such Conversion characters include :"? "(Question mark)," * "(asterisk)," "(Space)," $ "(currency character)," & ", extension number, and so on. Avoid using these characters in the file name. The file name can contain "" (Space), but we recommend that you use "_" (underline) instead.
