How to install a Linux hard disk in VMWare-general Linux technology-Linux technology and application information. First, a SCSI hard disk is created by default. Delete the hard disk through the configuration interface (Virtual Machine Settings-Hardware) and add a hard disk. Select the IDE Hard Disk option in the middle, note that if SCSI creates several GB of Hard Disk Files, do not forget to delete them.

Note: If you select to Allocate all disk space (Allocate all Disk space now), a disk file of Disk size will be generated, therefore, by default, do not select this option to create large files.
