Linux Kernel 3.13 officially released

After several candidate versions of LinuxKernel3.13, the official version of Linuxkenerl3.13 is released. Currently, Linux has not provided the Update log of Linuxkernel3.13, but you can refer to the new features leaked by Linuxkernel3.13 (as follows ): -The multi-queue block layer allows I/O load balancing among multiple CPU cores, providing better scalability, reducing disk latency, and providing better disk performance.-supports intel Broadwell and AMD

After having gone through multiple Linux Kernel 3.13 candidate versions, the official Linux kenerl 3.13 version is finally released today. At present, the Linux official version has not provided the Linux kernel 3.13 Update log, however, you can refer to the new Linux kernel 3.13 features leaked earlier (as follows ):

-The multi-queue block layer allows I/O loads to be balanced among multiple CPU cores, which provides better scalability, reduces disk latency, and improves disk performance;

-Supports new intel Broadwell and AMD Radeon R9 290 Hawaii drivers;

-The firewall subsystem/package filtering engine Nftables will replace iptables and provide a simpler kernel ABI to reduce repeated code and more effectively support filtering rules;

-Add new power management code to the open-source NVIDIA driver;

-Improved amd hdmi audio functions;

-Intel hardware supports Stereo/3D HDMI;

-Btrfs and F2FS File System Improvement;

-The Linux power CAP framework and real-time average power limit drivers will allow power consumption of certain components when the defined threshold is exceeded.
