Linux jdk 1.5 and tomcat 5 are complete. jdk should be suffixed with bin, use chmod u + x to add execution permissions, and add the environment variables classpath, java_home, in/etc/profile, add the jdk bin directory to path.

In tomcat, you need to add java_home or jre to the startup. sh header in the bin directory of tomcat. mysql is still not installed.
