Linux SUID, SGID, and sbit sgid only apply to binary execution files. The s and t permissions are created in the attributes so that the general user has the permission for this program. For example, if the user permission of www.2cto.com/user/bin/passwd is-rwsr-xr-x root, then the common user obtains the root permission when executing passwd. The SGID s permission can be used on a group in two parts: File: if it is set to a binary execution file, no matter who the user is, when the program is executed, the valid Group is changed to the group Directory of the program. the files or directories created in the directory will be the SBIT group of Group: in a directory with SBIT, users can only manage their own files even if they have the wr permission under this directory.
